  • Fill in the Yahoo email address, Yahoo recovery email address, or Yahoo account recovery phone number.
  • Fill in the CAPTCHA code and then a new page appears.
  • A part of your alternate email address is displayed. Click on the button below that says “Yes, send me an Account key”.
  • You will receive an email in your alternate email address that contains a Yahoo account security key. Enter this code in the text box that appears.
  • Now you will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter the password twice in the text box that appears.
  • Finally,  click on the “Continue” button to change your password.
This password needs to be updated on all the devices, platforms, software, and apps that you use.

Steps to Reset Yahoo password with recovery phone number:

In order to reset your Yahoo password with recovery phone number, you need to go through some of the quite simple steps. Just perform the action mentioned below to achieve desired results:
  • Visit the Yahoo mail sign in helper page in your web browser.
  • Enter the Yahoo email address, alternate email address, or recovery phone number.
  • Enter the CAPTCHA code.
  • A new page appears where you will be asked to enter the missing digits of your phone number.
  • After successfully doing so, you will be redirected to a new page where you have to click on the button “Yes, Text me an Account key”.
  • You will receive a Yahoo account security key via SMS in your recovery phone number.
  • Now enter the password twice in the text box that appears. Click on the continue button to save the password.
These above mention  steps are very effective to reset your password but should be implemented carefully as a bit of carelessness can make things more complicated.
